Dr. Osvaldo “Ozzie” Mayoral is a 1988 graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry. A lifelong resident of Miami, Dr. Mayoral is proud to practice Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in his hometown, and in the same location in Pinecrest since 1988.Dr. Mayoral has been an Attending Faculty member at Miami Children’s Hospital, and has been a Teaching Associate at the prestigious L.D. Pankey Institute since 1997, where he teaches advanced dental techniques to dentists from around the world. Dr. Mayoral is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, and has been active on the council of the International Academy of Operative Dentistry. He is also a member of numerous dental organizations including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, South Florida District Dental Association, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
Dr. Mayoral lectures internationally on Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Implants, Comprehensive Dentistry, Bite and TMJ Disorders, and Dental Photography. His dentistry has been featured and published internationally in dental education textbooks. Dr. Mayoral is the managing partner of the Pinecrest Center for Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. He was featured on the Discovery Channel as one of the first dentists to incorporate digital technology into his practice, including digital x-rays, dental lasers, and digital impression techniques. Mayoral is also a certified Invisalign preferred provider, which allows him to take his cosmetic work to the highest level. A pioneer in dental cosmetics, he is one of the few dentists in the country to use microscopes for his exacting restorative cosmetic work. His patients include nationally syndicated television and movie personalities.
Always concerned about those in need, Dr. Mayoral has been active in treating underprivileged children since 1988, and has been a volunteer dentist for the League Against Cancer since 1990. In 2008, Dr. Mayoral organized and hosted the largest free dental clinic at Camillus House, where hundreds of patients received quality dental care.
He is a classically trained pianist and his hobbies include photography, gardening, and fishing. Dr. Mayoral also enjoys spending time and travelling with his wife and two children.
